Hello world,
first, yes I survived the trek and all is fine now. It was pretty damn hard but well - as our guide put it "you are german, germans never give up" Ok, good to know.... lol details plus pictures will follow
I am now in Aguas Calientes which is the get away point for Machu Picchu. I will get up at 4 am to catch the first train up there. There will the centennial celebration tomorrow. I hope there will be no bavarian umbta-umbta-tata band playing ... lol
There was a reporter on the train today making interviews for the celebration. As her found out I am german he wanted me to interview but as many peruvians he speaks only little english. So I did not quite understand him and answered the questions he did not ask. Anyway, I kept smiling lol
Thanks guys, take care

MP feiert in diesen Tagen, nein, genau morgen seinen 100. Geburtstag.
Weisse Bescheid ...

looking forward to see the pictures!!! have fun out there, and enjoy your journey Sven :-)
